Jessica Sanchez joins Glee Season 4

The Filipino-Mexican American Idol runner up has closed a deal to join “Glee,” an American musical-drama television series, for a multi-episode arc before the season 4 ends. This was disclosed by various entertainment reports, including TVLine.

The role Jessica Sanchez will supposedly play in the television series has not yet been revealed. However, there are rumors that her character will be the new love interest for Finn, which is now Rachel’s ex-boyfriend in Glee Season 4.

Sanchez is the 3rd celebrity with Filipino blood to land recurring roles in Glee. The international singing sensation Charice Pempengco was the first one who had several appearances in Glee season 2. The second was Filipino-Irish Darren Criss, now a regular cast-member of “Glee” for the role of Blaine.
