Talent Manager Annabelle Rama made a violent scene by hiting showbiz reporter and columnist Chito Alcid with a microphone stand at the wake of the late King of Comedy Dolphy in Heritage Park, Taguig City.
Rama was caught on video when a live news report by ABS-CBN’s Bandila was covering the wake. The video showed the controversial talent manager raising her voice and aiming a long black thing, reportedly a mic stand, to Chito Alcid. The incident happened inside the chapel's dining room amidst other guests who were paying their last respects to the Comedy King.
German Moreno and Eddie Guttierez were also seen in the video trying to stop Rama by pulling her away from the scene.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Chito Alcid said that it was his articles and Facebook posts--which were presumably against Rama’s kids--that allegedly made Rama furious.
The incident that happened at the wake of Dolphy drew negative reactions from netizens, most of them saying that it was the most improper place for Rama to release her anger against the showbiz reporter.
Meanwhile, Rama expressed her feelings through a series of tweets, and one of these is asking for apology to the family of Dolphy.
“To Zsa Zsa and the Quizon family, I am so sorry for what had happened at the dining area of the Heritage. I was provoked by a fake reporter”
